The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has approved bunker tanker Marine Honour for mass flowmeter (MFM) bunkering operations.
The 8,722 deadweight tonne
(dwt) vessel is operated by Singapore-based Sinanju Tankers, according to a shipping database.
To date, there are a total of
18 bunker tankers approved for MFM bunkering operations at Singapore.
The use of MFM for fuel oil
bunkering in Singapore will be mandatory for bunker suppliers from January 1, 2017.
